Buy hardware¶
The fastest way to a working AryaOS gateway is the assembled, tested AirTAK go-kit — a turnkey box with AryaOS pre-installed. Prefer to build your own? That path is here too.
AirTAK go-kit (assembled)¶
- Order the AirTAK go-kit — Assembled, tested, and pre-flashed with AryaOS. snstac.com store
The AirTAK go-kit is a standalone ADS-B–to-TAK gateway you can carry in a backpack, power from a USB battery, and use with no internet — no LTE, no Wi-Fi backhaul. Pair any ATAK, WinTAK, or iTAK device to its hotspot and see live aircraft on the map. It is in active use by wildland fire, security, and safety and response organizations worldwide.
Proven in the field
In a San Diego backpack test with no outside connectivity, this configuration achieved a 55-mile aircraft-detection range. See the Introduction for the full concept of operations.
What's included¶
An assembled go-kit arrives ready to run:
- A supported Raspberry Pi with AryaOS pre-installed and personalized.
- SDR radio(s) and a tuned ADS-B antenna.
- A field enclosure suitable for backpack carry.
- Everything you need to power on and pair a TAK device.
Turn it on and go
Because the go-kit ships pre-flashed, you can skip Flash the image and go straight to First boot & first login to connect and secure the unit.
Build your own¶
AryaOS is free and open source. If you already have a Raspberry Pi — or want a custom radio and antenna loadout for maritime, drone, or multi-sensor missions — build it yourself:
- Gather hardware using Hardware & requirements.
- Flash the image to a microSD card.
- Complete First boot & first login.
- Pick a mission from the Deploy guides.
